Bombay Bicycle Club - Still

This is so beautiful.

so i got round to listening to new bbc, and they honestly know how to reinvent themselves. they just keep evolving, each album shaping a really individual sound but each album even in its differences, being as brilliant as the last. this album has just the right mixture between the lively records with really soft sounding ones. this song particularly stands out for the evolution of bbc, as although it’s probably the most different, it’s definitely the most mature of the album.  the high vocals and slight echo made me think it was a genuine radiohead record at first, but  even then that doesn’t even do this record justice. ’ a generic indie band’  is a complete injustice and understatement for this band, the way they grow and experiment with sounds and  sound so beautiful while doing so astounds me.
